About the job

As Vice President of Engineering at F24, you will play a critical leadership role in shaping and developing the technical foundation of our global, mission-critical resilience product portfolio. You will operate at the intersection of strategy, execution, and people leadership, guiding and defining the development (R&D) of highly reliable, scalable, and secure products that powers resilience organizations in the private and public sector worldwide.

 

This is a senior leadership role for a hands-on engineering executive who thrives in complex environments, understands the rigor of regulated industries, and can balance long-term architectural vision with day-to-day delivery excellence. You will partner closely with Product, Security, Operations, and Executive Leadership to ensure F24’s technology continues to meet the highest standards of availability, performance, and compliance.

You
  • Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing organization of development / engineering experts and teams, fostering a culture of accountability, craftsmanship, and continuous improvement.
  • Owning the Nearshoring center of F24
  • Define and own the engineering vision and technical strategy in alignment with F24’s business objectives and product roadmap defined by product management.
  • Drive the architecture evolution of our tech stack to be able to run on distributed and highly available infrastructure provided by our infrastructure responsible.
  • Streamlining and standardization of engineering processes and governance to improve efficiency, quality, and scalability across the organization.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Compliance, Security, and Operations to deliver solutions that meet regulatory, security, and customer requirements.
  • Maintain hands-on engagement where appropriate, setting engineering standards, reviewing designs, and staying deeply connected to the software development lifecycle.
  • Establish and enforce best practices for system reliability, scalability, performance, and operational excellence and establish these as engineering guidelines for the R&D team
  • Foster a culture of embracing AI technology in all areas of the team and constantly developing new skills in that area
  • Continuously assess and improve engineering processes, AI and R&D tooling, automation, and delivery velocity.
  • Act as a senior technical authority and advisor, evaluating emerging technologies and guiding long-term platform investments.
